My baby doesn’t want to be considered a baby anymore…:-( Cameron started climbing up the stairs at Nana’s house yesterday.
Now we will have to block the top and the bottom of the stairs off.
The boys have started to interact with each other a little more this past week. I’m not sure if it is Cameron’s favorite game or not, but Seth’s favorite game to play with Cameron is “Pull-him-down-and-make-him-stand-back-up.” As long as Cameron laughs about it I guess it is fine.
They also like to hide under the table.
Seth is getting to be a big help around the house. He puts his clothes away, sets the table, picks up his room and his favorite job is sweeping under the shoes and putting them back in a line.
The always go in one line, no matter how long it may be. So if you come over and find the door blocked by shoes you know that we at least swept the entry way that day.
I’ve been thinking lately about how I need to get back into a routine. In one of the mommy blog groups that I am in someone mentioned being part of a book launch team for Crystal Paine. Blogger at Money Saving Mom. I decided to sign up thinking that it would be fun to say that I did. Imagine my surprise when I found out that I made the team!! ๐ The book is titled “Say Goodbye to Survival Mode.” definitely something that I need to read. ๐
I’m just starting through the book and it is awesome! I can’t really tell you any more about it now (I’ll post more later as I can) but if you would like to get a sample of what the book is about you can go here and check it out. There is a video to watch about the book and a free seven day challenge to help you “Bring sanity, joy and purpose back into your life.”ย Go check it out guys! I think you’ll like it!
What did you do this week? Are you reading any good books right now?

awh! I have a gymnast so I totally understand. Enjoy this cute stage and take plenty of pictures!! I have like maybe 6 books that I should be reading. I have even considered getting audio books because I feel like I have ZERO time to sit down and read. Thanks to you, I have 7 books to read now! ๐ that one sounds like something I need to be reading too. Ohh the joys of motherhood! ๐

Say Goodbye to Survival Mode is such a great book! I’m only a few chapters in and I have already learned a lot about goal setting, routines, and accepting our gifts and not trying to be everyone else.

He is cute!! Not reading right now. Was reading about how to not yell and start connect on kindle but I must get back into that.
Rebekah says
It’s so hard to find time to read, isn’t it? I used to.be able to read one book in a couple of days, now if it only takes one week that is super fast.
Natalie says
I love the whole idea of “Saying Goodbye to Survival Mode”! We were meant to thrive! Congrats on your new project!
Rebekah says
Thanks Natalie! I’m excited about it, i’ve learned or been reminded of so many great things already and I’m just a few chapters in! Can’t wait to share more!

Oh I remember my 19 year old sweeping all the time when he was small. He is still a big helper as a grown man. I found that routine was always a good thing when you have little ones. Can’t wait to hear all about the book. I am currently reading a book by Zig Ziglar called Over the Top. It’s awesome.
Rebekah says
I’ve heard really good things about his books and speaking. Maybe I’ll go check out that book. ๐

I’m loving the book. I’m wondering if we can say something as Crystal shared a post that another blogger did. Anyway, I’m totally going to use it when I make my goals this year.
All kids love to be under the table! Your boys are so cute.
Rebekah says
Oh, I guess I missed that. ๐ I’m trying to get some goals down for the next year and break them down as she suggested.

Your boys are adorable and I love how they’re making their own ‘games’ together. LOVE the shoes, what a dedicated helper! I’m going to check out the book you suggest too. Thx for the info and the fun read on the boys ๐
Rebekah says
You’re welcome!!! I love the book and can’t wait to share more about it. ๐

A climber and a helper–Those are both great things and signs of wonderful growth! Cherish those cleaning skills now…my 15 and 17 year olds cannot remember theirs!
Rebekah says
๐ Yes, I’ll have to lots of pictures of him helping when he wants to, to show him later that he did a actually want to help once upon a time, though I would love to foster a love and joy of helping and a servants heart in him.

That little line of shoes is so sweet ๐ What a big helper!

What a big boy! Mine has been trying to get up the stair too! But we can’t block ours off since the bottom of them opens up wide and there is no way to block them! Congrats on being chosen to review the book!

Rebekah says
Thanks. ๐ He is getting to big and crawling around way to fast!
