I can’t believe September is almost over!
I say that every month. Well, not about September, but you get my drift. ๐
We had a smaller goal list this month, to help myself feel more accomplished, and it worked! I’m so excited to say that almost all of this month’s goals have been accomplished. If not, they will be by the end of this month. ๐
Blog:
*eight posts with 2 guest posts
I will have a guest post published over here soon. I’m sharing a recipe for gluten-free Butternut Spice Muffins. They are also dairy-free and have a grain-free option.
My first guest post was shared on the Expecting Mama’s Network. I shared ten different tips on transitioning from nap-time to rest-time. You can read that post here.
Doula Business:
*get resource list together- I have to work on this list this coming weekend, hoping to get most of it done.
*one post on New Life Doula Services blog I wrote a post for my business blog about questions to ask yourself if you are preparing for an unmedicated childbirth. You can read that post here.
Finances:
*save money for car and washing machine This is still a work in progress. We definitely have a way to go if we want to become debt free.
Health and Fitness:
*run, run, run. I need to log a lot of miles this month. The Grand Rapids Marathon is in six weeks o-0 I have finished 2-10 miles runs, 1-14 miler and a couple of shorter runs. I need to get an 18 miler in this weekend. Only 3 and a half weeks left until marathon day. ๐
Home and Hospitality:
*clean up landscaping
*plant bulbs
Both of these goals will be accomplished this weekend. I’m hoping to get into the yard tomorrow morning and get things cleaned up before I run in the afternoon.
Mothering:
*finish reading On the Banks of Plum Creek with Seth. We are almost done with this, I think we have about ten chapters left, they are pretty short, so if we read two before each rest-time we should be able to have it finished not too long into October.
Personal:
*read two fun books I finished The Insanity of God and am currently reading The Shack. Both are amazing reads, if you haven’t read either one yet, I definitely suggest checking them out.
What did you read this month? Were you able to cross much off your goal/to-do list?

I need to start keeping track of what I actually do so I can see it at the end of the month. All I know is that I was busy LOL Incidentally, I’m excited for the gluten-free Butternut Spice Muffins, and I LOVED “The Shack”!

I love this idea of writing down goals for each month! Seems like you got a ton of stuff done!

It definitely helps me to focus my time and live more intentionally. ๐

I don’t think I read anything note worthy this month ๐ I have been very busy at work and since the little girl started school, I do not have that much free time anymore. Surprisingly, when I get home from work, I tend to just play with my phone for a few minutes then conk out. It’s hard to stay up late at night these days.
Good luck and wishing you all the best on the new business!

Oh, I hope this coming month slows down a little for you. ๐
