If you have been following Surviving Toddlerhood here or on Facebook for a while you probably have noticed I like to set goals.
I love crossing things off my to-do list whether it is something small like working out today or a larger goal like painting the kitchen cupboards. I feel a great sense of accomplishment when I put a check by a goal or scribble it out.
I have been listing monthly goal lists here for a while but this summer I have decided to put that aside and create a summer bucket list. Most of the goals on this list are fun and family oriented, but some are actual work. Summer is a time to play and relax but, as my Dad always told us growing up, playing is more fun when the work is done.
Here is our 2015 Summer Bucket List:
*picnics
*swimming
*camping
*fishing
*trip to the zoo
*hiking
*beach days
*fireworks
*National Baby Food Festival
*pick berries
*put as much fresh produce away for fall and winter as we can
*siding on the house
*kitchen counters
*curtains and pillows for the our bedroom
*spend the summer enjoying the last summer as a family of four
*run a couple road races
*workout DVD’S 2-3 times a week
*school with Seth because we will be taking a couple of months off after BabyT#3 is born
*reading program at the library
