I can’t believe it is the end of May!! I feel like I just put up my goals post for May a couple of days ago.
We have had a good month. The weather is finally cooperating and the boys and I are loving our time outdoors. We have been hanging clothes on the line and working on getting our garden in.ย Because I know you all love pictures of cute little boys, there are some of our time outdoors in between categories.
Blogging:
*ten posts – I will have ten tomorrow. ๐
Finances:
*save $200 a week~ we might be changing this one, as it doesn’t seem to be possible right now
*read Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey– I’m finishing this book tomorrow. It will definitely be read again and again. I’ve learned so much by reading this book about making budgets,ย paying off debt and saving for the future.
Health and Fitness:
*Run 2x a week- I have run three times this month, I’m working on getting back into the swing of things.
*Bike once a week – I have biked once a week since I was cleared for activity. It has been a little scary at times, but we’re working on that.
Home and Hospitality:
*Get the yard cleaned up – Yay!! We got the broken washing machine and old metal out of our yard this past weekend, sorry the eyesore neighbors, since Ben finally had time and borrowed a truck to take it to the scrapyard. I got some of the yard raked and need to get it mowed so I can rake the rest, it looks kinda jungle-ish right now.
*paint piano room door – technically this isn’t done yet, but it will be tomorrow, along with that Dave Ramsey book.
*have great-grandparents over for dinner – We had a good dinner and enjoyed spending time with my grandparents. Ben’s grandma was out-of-town, so we will have to have her over for dinner soon as well.
Marriage:
*we already had our date night, maybe we can go on a hike sometime this month – we didn’t go on a hike, but we have gone on a couple of bike rides alone. ๐
Mothering:
*one on one date with Seth – Cameron did go with us, but we had lots of fun at the park and Seth got to pick out two movies at the library in town that we don’t visit often.
Personal:
*Work on Doula certification requirements – I have books on hold at the library to read and am plugging away at my other requirements. I’m hoping to hit these really hard this summer, so that I can have most of them done by September.
*read Jacob’s Ladder by Donald McCaig- Six chapters left. I can’t wait to see how it ends, not just because then I can cross it off either. I find the characters very interesting and I’m a little confused as to how the author is going to finish the story in six chapters.
I feel accomplished this month. Lots of things got crossed off. Next week I’ll give you my goals for the month of June. How are you doing?

Great shots and nice work on meeting your goals! I think putting them up on your blog makes you that much more determined to achieve them. ๐

Thanks! I’ve been attempting to figure out my camera a little better. I had wanted to get a new one, but I figure there is no reason getting a new one when I don’t even know how to properly use the one I have. ๐
Putting my goals list here definitly motivates me to get them done. ๐

Love the pictures!
You could have had your scrap metal picked up for free! There are people who will come to your house and pick it up.

But then we wouldn’t have gotten the money for it. ๐ There were a couple expensive pieces that we wanted the cash for.
