Last weekend we went fishing.
We all went, even Cameron. He enjoyed it until he got tired of the life-jacket, then he cried, and wiggled, and cried some more. He ended up nursing for a good bit of the experience. He probably won’t go again for a while. ๐ I was glad we took him though, because this is the last picture of Cameron with long hair.
That’s right, I finally decided to admit that Cameron is getting bigger and cut his hair.
The moment I got done I regretted it. Now I think it is cute, it just took sometime to get used to another little boy in the house instead of one little boy and one baby.
Seth did pretty well. Daddy let him drive the boat. Seth thought that was pretty cool. He also liked the worms.
He was the worm fetch-er, anytime Daddy needed a worm, Seth had one ready to go. ๐
Anytime Daddy had a fish, Seth got to reel it in.
Seth wasn’t a big fan of touching the fish, or even letting them get close to him.
I did get him to smile good for one picture though.
Sunday we had church and then went visiting, I think… I don’t even remember what happened Sunday evening. I do knowย I was a little surprised how different Cameron looked after his hair cut. So grown up and so much like his older brother!
They weren’t cooperating very well, so this is the best you get for right now.
Do you take your kids fishing? At what age do you first allow your toddler to go?
I’m thinking fifteen months might be a little young, but it could also be that Cameron life-jacket wasn’t fitting the best. It looks uncomfortable to me.
At what age did your son get his first haircut?
I think Seth was around the same age, possibly a little younger when he got his first haircut.
Have a great weekend! Hug your Dad! Make him this pie. ๐

Aw adorable!! We went fishing at the pond last year with my daughter who was almost two but there didn’t have to be a life jacket involved, my kids are not fans of the life jackets! My son has already had five haircuts but we are a little cut crazy I think! ๐

How old is your son? I do like Cameron’s hair cut, it is just that I don’t like the transition from baby to little boy. ๐
Lifejackets really aren’t comfortable, so I know why kids don’t like them.

I didn’t cut my sons hair for the longest time – maybe until he was a little bit after 2? It was ragged and long. I couldn’t imagine him looking any other way – then my husband cut it. Without telling me and to be honest, it took a little bit to get used to. Now when I look at his new hairstyle I see him. Just a happy boy.

Aww that would be tough” I don’t think my husband would have let it go that long, he had been bugging me about Cameron’s hair for a couple of months.
I don’t remember what Cameron looked like before his hair cut, I do like it now. He is a little boy now, not a baby.
