June is here, the beginning of summer and all its busyness. Summer is busy in a completely different way than fall, during the school year we have things scheduled and planned while summer brings spontaneous picnics or trips to the park. I have a lot of stuff that I want to get done this summer and I find that posting my goals here helps me to get things accomplished because I feel more accountable.
So here is my to-do list for June:
Blogging:
*eight posts
*clean up categories and tags
*create and organize pages
I’m slowing down this month on posts so that my little blog will be ready to co-host a party in July and August.
Doula Business:
*read three books for certification
*get resource list typed up
*make packets for clients
I want to get as many requirements for certification done this summer as I can.
Finances:
*spend as little as possible
Health and Fitness:
*run five miles four times
*biking- work up to fifty miles
Home and Hospitality
*trim on living room windows
*spring clean the kitchen and living room, find stuff to get rid of.
This is part of what came out of our room. We also had a load of items for the local consignment shop.
Marriage:
*I’m working on a surprise for Ben. ๐
Mothering:
*take the boys on a picnic
*get picture books done- I have groupon’s for photo books. I want to get birth pictures done for each boy.
Personal:
*read The Insanity of God
*work on creating a mix and match wardrobe for myself. I’ve already cleaned out a lot of items I never wear, but I want to get it pared down a little. I’ve been pinning a lot of articles about cutting down on clothes on my Live Like No One Else Pinterest board.
What are some clothing items you couldn’t live without (besides underclothing)?

Great goals! The one clothing item I can’t live without is tank tops. I wear them under most everything I wear!! And when I have a nursing baby (such as now) my item of clothing I can’t live without is my UnderCover Mama tanks! They don’t have straps an connect right onto my nursing bra so I don’t have to have two straps sticking out of my shirts. =) Love them!

I just heard of those undercover tanks this year, I have only heard great things about them. I’ll have to look for some for me next time. ๐

I love your June goals! I try to do something similar each month, but I’ve been a total slacker lately. Seeing your goals gives me motivation to actually set some for myself this month! I don’t think I could live without socks.I wear them year round!
Rebekah says
You and I would get along well, Tiffani. I wear thick socks on summer mornings, otherwise my toes get cold. Once It warms up though, the socks are off and I’m barefoot the rest of the day.
