If you have been wondering why things have been so quiet around here know there is a good reason. ๐
Andrew decided to join us here five weeks early! I’ll share the entire birth story later when I have birth pictures back but here are the stats:
Birthday- 9/23 born at 35 weeks 2 days
Weight- 5 pounds 9 ounces
Length- 16 1/2 inches
His birth was a successful 2VBAC (second vaginal birth after cesarean) and once labor started it was actually very short.
He came home with us last Friday night and nurses and sleeps wonderfully! The older brothers adore him and smother him with love.
We so thankful that Andrew came in God’s perfect timing even if our plans were changed a little.
Things will be a little slower around here for a while but I hope you stick around for some great guest posts. One on nutrition for breastfeeding mommas and another on motherhood. Stay tuned for those and Andrew’s complete birth story. ๐

Hi Rebekah, I was just thinking of you the other day, ’cause I remembered you telling me that you were due in October, and then I saw this! Congratulations! What a gorgeous baby (and family) you have. I am soon gonna read Baby Andrew’s Birth Story, but I’m excited to know it was a successful VBAC. Wishing you the best of luck and love with your family. ๐

Thanks Selma! I feel so special that you were thinking of me. ๐ I’ve switched to a self hosted site on wordpress.org, and for some reason I don’t have my reader anymore so I don’t get to see any of your posts… ๐ I’ll have to sign up for emails. ๐
Everything went exactly the way God planned, it was scary in the moment, but now I’m just thankful.
I’ll have to head over and check out what I’ve missed soon.
