Now that summer is over it is time to get back into the swing of things. One of those things I want to start doing again are monthly goal posts. Sharing my goals with you all helps to keep me accountable and gives me motivation.
I usually have a few different areas that I set goals in. Some are for blogging, some for family life, some are personal and some are for my business. Even though it seems like I set lofty goals in each area I try to make sure that all the goals in every catagory are attainable.
Goals for September 2015
Blogging:
*finish blog migration- Madison from Grace and Vine Studios has been moving things over for me. There are a few things on the new site that I want to fix. {Did you notice the new design? I’m super excited about it!!}
*8 posts
*redo some pictures on older posts and recipes- here is a recipe for Cilantro Lime Shrimp and White Beans that I just fixed earlier this month. I’ll show you the difference in a later blog post.
Doula Business
*make an actual list of all I need to do to finish certification
Health and Fitness
*workout 4-5 times a week- either running or a workout DVD {I ran 1.2 miles two times last week. You guys, that is the farthest I’ve run at this point in pregnancy! I don’t think I ran past 30 weeks with Seth and much past 20 weeks with Cameron. Yay!!}
Finances
*make plans for a no spend October. It seems like a lot of people are doing a no spendtember but I didn’t learn about it in time so I’ll be looking ahead to October and figuring out our personal “rules” for a no spend month.
Home and Hospitality
*make soap
*curtains and pillows
*Seth’s 5th Birthday Party
Marriage and Mothering
*finish reading The Long Winter with the boys
*start another chapter book
*plan some fall family activities
*plan something for Ben’s birthday
Preparing for BabyT#3
*get clothes washed and sorted
*wash cloth diapers
*find a wooden dresser for the boys
*fix the Pack’NPlay so it is once again usable- the boys got the scissors and made lovely designs in the mesh sides…all I wanted was a nap… ๐
What are your goals for the month?
Do you have any fall family activities that I should think about adding to my list?

That’s so amazing that you have a doula business! I need to go back and re-do some of the photos on my older posts as well.

Being a doula was not something that I ever thought I would do, but I’ve become a birth junkie. ๐ I love helping women and their families during pregnancy, labor and the postpartum period.

These are such amazing goals! I love the idea of making these goals and holding oneself accountable for sticking to them!

Thanks so much for coming by and checking out my to-do list for September! I hope you have a happy fall!
