{I received a pair of Zookaboo’s Miniloones in return for a review. All opinions are my own.}
Are you tired of needing to put your child in pants that are bigger than their actual size because his cloth diapers can’t fit under today’s baby clothes? I’ve found it frustrating to need to use pants that are one or two sizes bigger than Andrew’s actual size just to find a pair where the waist and bottom fit over his cloth diapers. I love cloth diapering and all it’s benefits, but I do get frustrated trying to find clothes that work with the bigger bottom cloth diapering gives my boys.
The problem is solved! Thanks to Zookaboo’s Miniloones (fancy name for baby leggings that fit over a cloth diaper bottom} my frustrations have been relieved!
Zookaboo is a small company founded by Michelle Zook in 2010. Michelle was finding her job as a teacher to be emotionally draining and wanted to be at home with her children. Her husband also works long hours and has a long commute and they were both agreed that someone needed to be available for their children. To accomplish her goals Michelle started Zookaboo. You can find her on Etsy, Facebook, Instagram, and at her website www.zookaboo.com
I love the stretchy knit that the miniloones are made from. Andrew is free to scoot, roll, and sit without being hampered by stiff or tight material.
Another thing that I love about these baby leggings is that they grow with Andrew. All you have to do is roll down the cuffs at the feet or unroll the waist band and your little one can wear these from 3 months to one year.
The fact that these adorable cloth diaper pants are a neutral color means that Andrew can wear them with anything! If you follow me on Instagram you can find quite a few different pictures of him in these miniloones. {I chose the neutral color but if you want something more colorful or unique head over to Michelle’s shop to see all that she offers.}
I also decided to try some of Michelle’s cloth diaper covers. Since I’ve been finding that I like prefold and flat diapers better at home than my pocket diapers I thought some new, cute were in order. I really like these covers, the only thing I don’t like is that the legs don’t have a second gusset around them. However even without the second gusset I rarely have any issues with leakage and when I do it is because I haven’t changed Andrew in a long time. The prints are adorable and the price is great!
The diaper cover is made of cotton and white PUL with a white binding around the edges. Because the cotton is what gives each cover its awesome print these are much more budget friendly than other covers where the actual PUL has the design on it.
No gaping around the waist. Depending on how your baby is built the legs might be a little looser than normal, but with all the snaps for adjusting you should be able to find the best fit for your little one.
Would I recommend the Zookaboo Miniloones (baby leggings) to my friends? YES!!! GO GET SOME NOW!
Would I recommend the Zookaboo Cloth Diaper Covers? Yes! For the price and cuteness factor, you can’t find anything better!
