One month of 2015 is gone. Already.
Here were my specific goals for January:
Personal:
*write a psalm of praise (or list a list) of the ways God has shown his faithfulness in our family. I did do this. I would like to write it out in a different form and put a copy in each boy’s journal.
*memorize 1 Peter 1Yes!! ๐
*make some goals that cover the entire yearI made some fitness goals for the year and I will share them with you later.
Mothering
*make a chore chart for Seth and Cameron Whoo-hoo! I finally got this done after having it on my list for a long time. I’ll share more about what we came up with in a future post.
*get back into a school routine with SethWe are doing a lot better and getting back on track with consistency.
Home and Hospitality
*curtains in our bedroom
*make pillows for the bed
Neither of these got done, but I did get the material, so I’m hoping to complete these goals next month.
Health and Fitness
*complete #onemonthoffitness This was such a great motivator for me. There were a couple of ladies who joined me over on FB for this challenge. I would like to do it again in a couple of months with some added ideas.
Blog
*ten postsThere ended up being nine posts, so not bad. ๐
What else did we do this month?
*Ben is busy coaching basketball this time of year, so we have been going to some games and getting ready for tournament time in February.
*Playing in the snow. Seth and Cameron have been loving the outdoors. I like running in it. ๐
*I attended a birth earlier this week, I’m always amazed at the beauty and miracle that birth is. Yes it can be dirty and gross, but there is a sacredness in birth that cannot be denied.
*#onemonthoffitness- I’ll give my full report next week. As I said before this challenge really kept me accountable and looking for ways to add fitness into everyday.
*Ben and I had a date night, just us. So needed! We seen Mockingjay Part 1, something I had been wanting to see for a while. ๐
How was your January? Did you accomplish the goals you set out to do?

Rock on! You actually met a ton of your goals, that’s awesome!! And I loved #onemonthoffitness, I know I stopped responding the last week – I had a cold and it was all I could do to get my exercise in – I think I only really missed 3 days… that’s not bad at all!! ๐ Can’t wait to see the new curtains! I need to fix my sewing machine… but alas, I’ll live thru you for a bit!

Thanks! You helped to keep me motivated last month and keep moving even though it was cold outside. I’m thinking about bringing the challenge back in a couple of months but with some new improved features. ๐
My poor sewing machine barely ever sees the light of day. I honestly think that I only used it two times last year. I would love to sew more, but I have other things, like blogging, that I like to do more.
