Happy Belated Thanksgiving!! I hope you enjoyed your long weekend with family and friends, I know we did.
We met some goals that weren’t on this list this month, like stocking our freezer with venison. We need four deer and thankfully during early doe season and the past couple weeks of rifle season Ben was able to get what we needed. I didn’t go out this year…I kinda missed it. I will definitely go out next year!
Another goal that was accomplished was potty training Cameron. I wasn’t so sure how he would do, I was noticing that he seemed to be ready, but at 19 months he is almost 8 months younger than Seth was when we started potty training. Yesterday he went to nursery at church in undies and pants and he came out with the same undies and pants. ๐ He went right away when I took him to the bathroom. He normally runs around in undies or with a bare butt still, because it is easier for him to just run to the froggy when he needs to go potty then to have him come get me and have me rush him to the bathroom.
Seth is starting to read now. Just little BOB books, but he loves the fact that he can go get a book and sit down and read it. He isn’t super fluent yet, he has to sound out all the letters and then put the word together, but I know by the end of the school year he will be reading fluently. I’m so excited!

Wow-you had a ton of goals for the month! I’m impressed you got as many done as you did! It’s a great idea to write them down, and post them…seems like they would all stick in your head better. I didn’t write any down for the month, but it certainly was busy. I have a feeling this month will be even busier! Ha!

I think next year I might scale it back a little lol.
A lot of them are things we work into our daily schedule and I do have to check back and see what I have down every once in a while. ๐

Sounds like a productive month! Good for you! I’m in the potty training boat too and they’re doing great but so far I haven’t even tried doing just underwear for in the car and going places. I’m scared the car seats will be compromised haha. Well get there, and they’re probably, more ready than I give them credit for because many times, they have dry diapers and ask to go potty… Anyway, good job with your goals! And thanks for sharing!

I am very inspired by your reflections here on all of the areas of your life. What a great way to grow personally and really stay on top of life. My 25-month old boy is not potty-training yet, so I’m feeling a little behind there. I think I’ll try making this goal chart a priority for December. Thanks!

Every little one is ready at a different time, my oldest was between 25-27 months before he was ready. Good luck!
