It’s our fiftieth post-avesary!! So to celebrate I decided to tell you fifty things that you have been dying to know about us. ๐
Me:
- I am right-handed
- I love to read
- I love being pregnant
- I do not like shopping for jeans
- I love to teach
- I have had one car my whole driving career and it is almost twenty years old
- I am really bad at updating pictures in our house, we don’t have any of Seth framed over a year and none of Cameron
- I love pantry cooking
- Green tea is starting to become my choice of drink, even over coffee
- Dairy free dark chocolate makes me very happy ๐
My Hubby:
- Takes good care of me
- Is participating in a twenty-four hour bike race this summer
- Won a state championship in high school
- Loves sports
- Is the oldest of seven children
- Youngest brother is eighteen months older than Seth
- Is an auto technician and is almost his shop’s youngest master tech
- Rode across Michigan in one day
- Is not a big fan of reading
- Likes rock music
My Boys:
- Are getting too big
- Are starting to play and interact with each other more often every day
- Are cloth diaper wearing babies
- Weigh the same amount
- Are super cute
- Love the library
- Dislike kidney beans and love black beans
- Share a room
- Get their hair cut by momma
- Love the outdoors
My Kitchen:
- Has no dishwasher
- Is grain free except for hubby’s bread and tortilla’s
- My sink is only dish free except for the ten to fifteen minutes right after I get done washing them
- Has carpet, I hate it
- Is a combined room with our living room
- Usually has cookbooks scattered around
- Vita-mix, need I say more
- Will hopefully get new cupboards in the next couple of years
- Food processor, the bomb
- Is well used and loved
Our House:
- Was my husband’s great grandma’s house
- Is around fifty years old
- Is getting our touches in it, remodeling and paint
- Is small and cozy
- Is home
Our Marriage:
- We don’t know how or when we first met
- Hubby was my older brother’s best friend
- I’m a cradle robber
- Is for LIFE
- We’re seeking to honor God in ALL we do, marriage, family life, work, etc

Carpet in the kitchen? Yuk. Don’t worry we bought our home with carpets in both bathrooms and have only replaced one with tiles so far. All these things require money, hey.

Sometimes I wish money didn’t exist and that a barter/trade system still existed. I think there will always be work being done on our home, by the time we get to the end of our to-do list, we will have a mile long one of other things. ๐
