Teaching from Rest: A Homeschoolers Guide to Unshakeable Peace
“We must approach the Holy Spirit every single day, asking Him to lead us and to quiet our anxious souls so that we can really bless our children- not with shiny curriculum or perfect lesson plans, but rather with purposeful, restful spirits. The true aim of education is to order a child’s affections- to teach him to love what he ought and hate what he ought.” Teaching from Rest
Steady Days: A Journey Toward Intentional, Professional Motherhood
“We need to equip ourselves with practical tools that allow us to give our personal best to our young children, helping us thrive in our strengths and overcome our weaknesses. WE aim for professionalism in every other area of our lives; why should our children get anything less?” Steady Days

Treasuring Christ When Your Hands are Full
“As mothers, we can so easily become fixated on the immaturity of these little image bearers, who show people their boogers, that we neglect to treasure them as reflections of God’s glory. In our noble efforts to practically raise our children to grow up to be adults, we often miss something. We miss the rising syn that signals another day of grace in which God has entrusted us with nurturing his little image bearers to live and honor him first and foremost and forever.” Treasuring Christ When Your Hands are Full
This book is an oldy, but goody. Written by Elizabeth Elliot there are short chapters, perfect for mommas of littles, and tons of wisdom from a godly older women. It is a favorite of mine, and one that I should read more often.
