Disclaimer: Some of these recipes may require small tweaks to make them fit all of the guidelines. If a recipe calls for milk, I sub a nut milk. If it calls for cheese we will either sub Daiya cheese shreds or leave it out. If a recipe calls for peanut butter we will sub with another nut or seed butter. Always read your spice and seasoning bottles to make sure thy are safe for you.
Β Today starts our grain and allergen free diet. You can read more about why we are starting this and what we are avoiding in our diet here. Here is a menu that I have put together for the next couple of weeks. I don’t like menus that have specific foods on specific dates, as I like to eat what I feel like. π I try to put together as list of things that sounds good, and then pick what I want each day. I have lots of these recipes on Pinterest, divided into breakfast, dinner, snacks and dessert categories. If the recipe link is on Pinterest there will be (P) after it. I’m not exactly sure how to link you to that, but you can follow me on Pinterest at Rebekah @survivingtoddlerhood.
Dinner:
Sticky Coconut Chicken (P) with Cilantro Lime Quinoa (P)
Pizza – Grain Free Crust (P or click on the source for the picture above and it will take you to the recipe) we will use Daiya cheese shreds as well.

This lovely cold weather. π I think I may be one of the only ones who truely has been enjoying this winter. Sitting in my cozy little house, watching the wind blow and the snow come down…I love it! π Tonight for supper we will be having Beef Bourguignon, we will use venison instead of beef but everything else will be the same. It sounds warm and comfy a good winter meal. I had probably better go get the meat out of the freezer. Have you enjoyed this winter? What are you having for dinner tonight? Did you meet all of your goals last week?

I’m definitely not a lover of winter, but I can understand why others find it cozy. That pizza looks really amazing. I’ll have to check it out.

Looks like you are very sorted! It is so hot here, but I’m not feeling very adventurous with my cooking. I like the idea of waffles for breakfast though.
Rebekah says
Waffles are the best! :)Fresh fruit and coconut cream on top…yummy!

I hate cold weather. During the cold weather I always want to drink and eat hot stuff. It’s 9 degrees now as I am typing this and I am freezing. Those recipes sound great!! Our family loves pizza! I like making homemade pizzas and calzones. I will check out your recipe to give me a break from the same ole rut I have been in.
Rebekah says
Warm soup, biscuits and Apple crisp..yum!! I always get stuck in ruts. I’m hoping with planning, I’ll be able to stay out of one for a while.
Tammy Doiel @creativekkids.com says
No, I did not get all my goals done last week. I love your menu plan! I hope it helps your son out.
Misty Marroquin says
Thanks for sharing your menu plan..I am always looking for dinner suggestions. I tend to get stuck in a rut of making the same old same old thing. I need to break out of my easy dinner zone. Lol.
Rebekah says
That is the thing about easy dinners, they are so easy. π I tend to do the same thing. I’m hoping being more consistent with planning with help with that.
Kim @ WampumHome says
I love meal plans, helps stay focused, organized and less last minute bad choices. Great ideas all in one post for reference π
Carli says
That actually sounds super yummy! I don’t like to plan out each day either because I like to eat what I crave, but my goal this year is to do just that….plan out each day! Because I tend to get so scatter brained, I forget to take out things, or get them from the store and we end up ordering out or throwing in a frozen pizza! My life is too complex right now to go with the flow!
Rebekah says
I hope planning every day works well for you this year! Will you be posting meal plans?
