34 weeks! This third trimester is going by so fast! I have been able to cross off some of the things on my BabyT#3 prep list and I’m hoping to get the rest done this coming weekend.
My mom and I went north this past weekend, I had a class for my doula work and mom wrnt with me to keep me company. I had her look for some maternity jeans for me while she was shopping and she found me a pair for $12! Yay!
I had an appointment this morning with my awesome OB. BabyT#3’s head down and very low which is why I’m measuring small. Just to be on the safe side I’ll be going for weekly appointments now to keep an eye on his growth and I’m working on adding in lots more protein- I haven’t been doing to well in that department lately. More eggs, meat and protein powder for me!
At my appointment today I was up 36 pounds. I’m wondering what the final gain will be….
None really. I like spicy food, but there haven’t been any “have to have it now” cravings in a while.
Diet and Exercise
Following THM more closely the last couple of weeks. A couple of weeks ago I ate some dairy without realizing it which cause my yeast rash to come back on my hand. Following THM almost perfectly has been the only way to get rid of it. I’ve dealt with this rash since I was in my mid teens and the only success I’ve had with getting rid of it long term has been to follow THM. When I was eating dairy regularly and consuming refined sugars it would have flare ups that left me scratching all night. Doing different things to strengthen my gut walls, adding in more healthy fats and eliminating sugar are always the best thing for me when I do have a rare flare up now.
As far as exercise I’m not sure how much longer that will be able to happen. I pulled a muscle in my thigh somehow and anything other than walking seems to hurt it. 🙁 I’m going to rest it for a few more days and then try some gentle stretching and see what happens.
What I’m Loving:
All the little things we’re finishing up before BabyT#3 arrives. I love folding his clothes and reareanging things in the boys room to fit in Baby’s clothes. I love deep cleaning and reorganizing. I love finding things to get rid of.
What I’m NOT Loving
This pulled muscle thing. It’s no fun!
Around 5 lbs now.
17-18 inches. I think Cameron was 18″ at birth. BabyT#3 probably won’t be growing to much longer…these last few weeks he’ll be working on add fat to his frame. I have to say I’m looking forward to some chubby baby cuddles, so I hope he adds on a little bit of fat. 🙂
